Greetings. Today 5 January 2017 is National Bird Day in the USA. It is a great day for bird watchers, and those who enjoy birds. It is a day of bird awareness. There is another part to this besides just awareness.
For those who admire birds, look outside, look at the kinds of birds you see around you. Why can you find the birds outside that you see, and not others? Where are those birds gathered? Trees? Flowers? Shrubs? Lakes? Ponds? For the bird lover, for the birdwatcher, think about that. Think about the geographic range of the bird you are looking at. It is winter in the USA, so that should really be something to think about. What birds are around where you live? What is the weather like where you live?
